The New MQB2 platform Electric power steering system works just like the previous system but it has been difficult to crash data for these modules to be able to have them work again,

If your are repairing a front crash car be it Ibiza,Polo,Arona chances are the power steering wont clear or reset and you are left with an error "Crash shutdown activated P1609" and the power steering is red and stiff hard.
